"Don't take it personally sweetie. It's who he is. He just wants someone to love him." She explained.

She was trying to hold in her tears, "He didn't have to lie to me." she whispered in fear that her voice would crack.

"That's the thing. According to him, he does have to lie. He can't help it. It just comes naturally...just like his drug addiction and tattoo addiction." She said quietly.

Staysea took a deep breath.
"What else has he lied about?" she demanded, "Does this mean that our whole marriage is a LIE?!"

"The marriage might have been, but his love for you isn't. I can tell by the way he looks at you and Ben and Shadow and Emilee. And I don't know what he's told you so I don't really know what he lied about." She said.

"I love him, too." she whispered
"What else has he told the other girls?" she demanded.

"These are just things he doesn't tell anyone. He got a girl pregnant when he was 16, He likes men better than women sometimes, His real name is Travis, but he changed it when he was 15, and he lost his virginity and had his first drugs when he was 13." She admitted.

She was holding back a sob and tears were running down her face.
"Stop the car." she said quietly.
The car stopped.
She got out and started walking towards her house to confront Trace.

Trace was sitting on the couch watching Ben play.

"Hey Travis" she said, crossing her arms across her chest.

He stood up, vivid with rage. "What did you just call me?" He asked.

"You heard me." she retorted, cocking an eyebrow.

He sat back down. "I hate that name." He whispered.

"And I hate that you didn't tell me...that I had to hear it all from your sister." she murmured.

He got up and grabbed her arm softly. "I didn't want you to know. That's why I don't want her around me. She ruined my life...several times." He said.
