Trasea's House

"I'm not here to say I'm sorry and pretend everything's ok. Cause it's not." He said and backed away.

"I know." she said slowly, "I'm just so happy you're here!" she murmured as relief washed through her.

"Staysea. I can't do this right now." He said and started walking towards the door.

Staysea's lower lip trembled as tears threatened to escape. She'd been so devastated that he was gone and he comes and acts like this?
"Trace, wait." she said, "Let's just talk this through." she compromised, her voice cracking from her tears.

He struggled to hold back tears as he heard her saddened tone. "You know I can't do that Staysea." He said quietly.

"Please." she whispered.

He shook his head. "I wish I could."

She took an unneeded deep breath and nodded slowly, not wanting to ask questions and be annoying.

"You're not being annoying." He said.

(he was supposed to be dead, right?)

Staysea was confused and since she wasn't being annoying, she decided to ask questions, "Why can't you?" she asked quietly.

"I don't want to live with what I've done to you." He whispered, sitting down on the bed.

"You didn't do anything to me, Trace. I just...I'm a hard person to be around, let alone be married to. Nothing that happens to me is your fault. Don't ever think it is." She murmured, sitting next to him on the bed.

"I've caused you to shed so many tears. I don't like living with the memory of those tears." He said.

"Trace, I'm hormonal. When I cry it's because I've done something stupid. When we fight 99.9% of the time, it's my fault. Don't blame yourself." she said softly.

"What about last night? That wasn't your fault. I can't just come back when I made you cry all of those tears." He said, glancing at his vest.
