Staysea Dessen was bitten at the age of seventeen by a rogue vampire. Being a newborn, Staysea went home, unsure of what to expect. Her bloodlust overwhelmed her and she murdered her parents and sired her twin sister, Nikole, and older brother, Dexter. She then continued to changed her best friend, Remilia Starr. Now on a quest to be normal, Staysea meets her match in the form of the tattooed womanizer, Trace Kingston.

Remy never expected her life to change but that's exactly what happened when a blood soaked Staysea attacked her. She is now bound with the Dessens as a coven, trying to be normal. She meets John Heron, the hottie who just happens to be Trace's best friend.

Dexter is infuriated when Staysea admits to killing their parents. He kicks her out of their house, telling her never to come back. Even though he no longer wishes to confront his sister, they are still attending the same high school. He meets the enigmatic Annabel Heron, John's younger sister and Trace's other best friend.

Alba is new to FHS and has no friend except for her mate, Tristan. She was turned in the eighteen hundreds and met Tristan sixteen years later. She quickly becomes friends with Staysea but Remy is suspicious that Alba is hiding something...something particularly dangerous...something that could harm them all.

Tristan was a natural born vampire. Originating from a vampire parents, he was human until he turned eighteen. He wandered out on his own before meeting Alba.

Henry is Alba's father. He's a doctor (Dr.DILF :D )
